Project Bridge: Digital financial inclusion and training for women living with disabilities

Committed to finding new ways to achieve #financialfreedom and #financialinclusion, our project Bridge supports vulnerable women to start up businesses and become economically empowered. Highly cognizant of the challenges faced especially for #personswithdisabilities , our training over Nov 15-16, 2022 focused on providing access to digital skills and financial inclusion for women living with disabilities.
Over 17 women living with disabilities were trained on business skills and digital payments using smobilpay supported by our major partner Maviance Cameroun and in return were supported with business start up capital by BetPawa .
Maviance the training partners are committed to digitalizing payments and serves as a payment aggregator for most online transactions in the country. Through the smobil pay platform these women will be able to work and earn commissions from the comfort of their homes.This is a giant step to innovative methods of providing #financialinclusion and achieving #womeneconomicempowerment
